The Wright Agency is a companion non medical in home care company who tailors services to meet individual needs of adult disabled and elderly residents of Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Senior Service Care


The Wright Approach

Aging can allow for a more relaxed freeing lifestyle; along with new obstacles and challenges, we are here to help. It is okay for seniors to ask for assistance it is an honor and a pleasure to help.   Understanding the challenges of mature adults is our specialty. We strive to support clients emotionally and physically in daily living activities that may have become more difficult over time.

Alzheimer and Dementia Care

We train our home care worker in Alzheimer's disease and dementia care using a unique interoperable system allowing the home care worker to get to know the senior on a personal level, gaining knowledge regarding likes and dislikes or even past events in the person's life.  We work closely with all organizations involved with the individuals life. This approach develops relationship with the senior; the home care worker can plan activities to stimulate mental or physical activities, which create more thought that is lucid.

Veterans Care

Our nation's veterans and their families deserve respect and dignity they have earned fighting for our freedom. We do our job with honor, serving all veterans and their families by helping them cope with the challenges of aging to combat living with injuries sustained in the field.

How do you qualify your staff members who would be coming into my home?


All home care workers who visit your home go through a rigorous interview and screening process, as well as a background check and license verification. Our home care workers are regularly supervised and evaluated to ensure that you or your loved one is receiving the care and attention they deserve.

What does being homebound mean?


A patient’s inability to leave the home without the assistance of another person. Also, leaving the home may be so difficult for the individual that it compromises their health or condition.

What is “unskilled” or “non-medical” home care?


“Unskilled” or “Non-medical” care typically refers to companion and personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, as well as assistance with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and running errands. It could also include medication reminders, assistance with ambulation, and transportation to medical appointments. These types of services are typically provided by Direct Care Workers (DCWs) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and can be arranged for anywhere from a few hours to 24-hours a day. “Unskilled” or “Non-medical” care is often sought by the elderly, new and expectant parents, individuals with disabilities, and those transitioning from a hospital or medical facility to home.

What efforts will be made to provide the same home care worker for any particular client?


We believe in consistency of home care workers and match the client with home care worker(s) who have the competence and compassion to excel in providing the best care for that client.
